Q1.WHAT IS FUNDAMENTAL QUANTITIES?
Ans:The physical quantities which do not depend on any other physical quantities for their measurements are known as FUNDAMENTAL QUANTITIES.
Q2.THERE ARE HOW MANY FUNDAMENTAL QUANTITIES?
Ans:There are seven fundamental quantities.
1.LENGTH:SI unit is 'meter' symbol is 'm'.
2.MASS: SI unit is 'kilogram' and symbol is 'kg'.
3.TIME:SI unit is 'second' symbol is 'sec'.
4.TEMPERATURE:SI unit is 'kelvin' symbol is 'K'.
5.ELECTRIC CURRENT:SI unit is 'ampere' symbol is 'A'.
6.LUMINOUS INTENSITY:SI unit is 'candela' symbol is 'cd'.
7.AMOUNT OF SUBSTANCE:SI unit is 'mole' symbol is 'mol'.
